If I file bankruptcy will I be able to keep my vehicle?

You are allowed to keep a financed vehicle as long as the payments are current and is not listed as a debt to be discharged.  If your vehicle is paid for then you can list it as exempt as long as the value doesn’t exceed the allowable limit. Usually around $15,000.
