No, but there are steps you can take to minimize other people's knowledge about your bankruptcy. Filing bankruptcy on your own is one way to minimize. However, bankruptcy filings are public records, but not many people read these filings. It is relatively safe to assume that  under normal circumstances, no one will know that you filed.
